I am a writer practicing the production of performance poetry and immersive experiences. Over the past decade I have worked with many arts organisations, educational institutions, cultural venues and digital companies producing and participating in many exciting and creative projects. My favourites include the production of immersive festival performances, curating a writing festival, an immersive theatre show and the development of an interactive online game for children.

My recent publications include Wingless Words and The Grief Diaries, an online poetry blog documenting grief.

Along side my work in the arts, I have carved a career in the digital industry as a project architect, producing mobile applications, websites and online business systems with scotchegg Media LTD. With ‘The Art of Digital’ as their slogan, scotchegg develop intuitive digital projects to improve the way we live, work, participate and experience.

“We converse with brands more willingly now that digital is gaining consciousness.” Hayley Frances

Digital media is a game changer for the performing arts and I am currently working on a number of immersive, participatory projects that combines physical performance with virtual reality.

I am the founder of The Puboard Company – an immersive pub in a cupboard and I.M.P.E Productions – an experimental performance company.

Current projects in progress include 15 Minutes – a one on one passenger theatre show, Lovelopes – personalised poetry for events, Wingless Words – a poetry pamphlet, a Haiku year book and the Grief Diaries – a personal documentation of grief through poetry.

Hayley is an Arts Award Advisor in Bronze, Silver and Gold.
